2009 Club Championship

 We had a great weekend for this year’s Club Championship. The weather was great. The food and drink was plentiful and the competition was fierce. The complete results for the entire field can be found on the menu page under club championships.

 Congratulations to all of the participants and thanks for playing in this year’s event.

 This year’s Member of the Year is Dorsey Roth. Dorsey has been a member for 34 years or so I’m getting to old to remember exactly. He lives on hole #8 and has always been there for us whenever we needed anything. He has been a friend to many of us over the years and is a deserving winner of this award.  Thanks for being a good friend and good neighbor for the past 34 years.

 Most improved players this year are Gary Woods and Karen Bartles. Both players have worked hard to improve their games this year and it has shown in their scoring averages. Congratulations to Gary and Karen.

 Grand Prix players of the year go to Jim and Vicki Murphy. They both had great years and played in every club event this year. Both of their victories came down to high finishes in the club championship. Thanks to all who participate in all of club events.
